Posted by Brett Brudvik | Feb 15, 2016 | 0 Comments

Many people believe that a prenuptial agreement is only for rich couples. They believe this arrangement is only for people bringing millions of dollars into a marriage. This is far from the truth.

A prenuptial agreement can be used by anybody who wants to protect his or her assets as they head into marriage. You don't get married with the idea that you will divorce, but it's important to plan for anything that could happen in the future. This will give both partners peace of mind.

There are many types of people who could benefit from a prenuptial agreement, including:

— Those who like to be in control of their own affairs at all times.

— Those who are expecting to inherit money in the future.

— People who have kids when entering a marriage.

— People who own a business.

— People who have a partner with a lot of debt.

— Those who want to enter a marriage with all their financial affairs in order.

Whether or not you request a prenuptial agreement depends on many factors. While you may think this is a bad thing, it could end up being one of the best decisions you ever make.
